Recently, I accidentally infuriated my acquaintance in addition to potentially ruined our entire relationship by suggesting that she invest in a smaller resting fan for her room. I thought that this was a pretty inert recommendation, but a lot of people want to complain more than they want to make swings. The conversation all started because my acquaintance was complaining about trying to toil from house during this quarantine. Apparently, her village in addition to her house are both easily loud in addition to distracting. She has trouble working unless she has a lot of background noise to drown out the unlucky sounds, in addition to her number one easily white noise device was her Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C system. She actually enjoyed the sound of the a/c running outside of her room because the cooling device was so loud. Every day, she set her indoor air temperature super low so the AC system was running all morning in addition to afternoon. She confessed that she opened the windows sporadically to allow warm air into the house, just to keep the control device convinced that more cooling power was necessary. This way, her AC hardly ever turned off, in addition to she could concentrate for hours on end. When I asked her about her energy bill, she said it was large but necessary. She would just need to cancel our trip next year for the sake of the energy bill. That’s when I carefully asked if she would consider giving that cooling system a break in addition to using a small table fan for background noise instead… Considering she hung up on me, I know she’s not interested.
