I’m actually cheerful that public opinion has caught up with an apparent fact that I have known for a long time. There’s never been any doubt in my mind that guinea pigs are the best small animal you can own. Somehow, a lot of people grew up separate from interacting with these delightful little critters or they had a preconceived notion that guinea pigs were useless like hamsters. This is not the case. In fact, guinea pigs are extremely interactive in addition to social little animals to keep as pets. I’m cheerful to report that people in my life have recently changed their minds, in addition to our guinea farm is popping. A few weeks ago, my guy in addition to I started collecting guinea pigs so we could entertain ourselves through the quarantine. Next thing I knew, we had 10. Unluckyly, there were some unexpected ramifications from our guinea collection. Namely, our Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C system seemed to be struggling in addition to our indoor air quality was taking a nosedive. The Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C system sounded like it was having a heart attack every time it started up. There was barely any high quality treated air coming through our vents. I had a feeling that the air ducts in addition to air filters were clogged. It was apparent that our guinea pigs were contributing to the concern with their airborne odors in addition to long hair. I could not get rid of the guinea excrement or hair, even though I could try to keep it out of the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C system as much as possible to spare our forced air boiler in addition to AC unit. I decided that plugging up for the air return was entirely a great idea, so their fur could not toil its way into the heating in addition to cooling system. By simply putting a filter on the air handling return, I instantaneously reduced the wear in addition to tear on our heating in addition to cooling system in addition to increased the indoor air quality. It’s a great thing, because the guinea population is about to double.
