I have been going through menopause for numerous years.
The symptoms are honestly aggravating.
I suffer from frequent headaches and have struggled with weight gain. Sleeping is just about impossible and I experience horrendous hot flashes. They come on separate from any warning whatsoever. Suddenly, my body temperature spikes, and I sweat profusely. The hot flashes happen most often at evening. Even when the outdoor temperature is down in the twenties and the rest of the family is glad to have the furnace running, I want cooling. There was a time when I’d sneak into the guest study room, shut the door and open a window. I made sure to close the supply and return vents. The cool air felt attractive. However, this wasn’t an ideal solution. I finally invested into a ductless heat pump for the guest study room. I now leave my hubby sleeping in the master study room with the furnace pumping out plenty of heated air. The ductless heat pump includes an independent control unit, allowing me to adjust the temperature of that certain room separate from affecting the rest of the house. Plus, I can make adjustments through an app on my PC. I don’t even need to get out of bed to lower the temperature and cherish a cool influx of air. I can even customize the fan speed and direction of airflow. Because the ductless unit features inverter technology it is especially energy efficient and costs little to operate. The system consists of an outdoor compressor and indoor air handler that are both legitimately compact and unobtrusive. The installation of the system was completed in a single afternoon, required no renovation and created no mess.
